There is something about Ms. Jackie that commands respect. You can tell by the way she carries herself. You can’t help but address her as ma’am upon meeting her. You know she has wisdom because she’s willing to share stories of her lived mistakes. With adopted nieces and nephews on her mind she often reflects on what kind of legacy she has left behind. Has she lived her life according to her purpose? She attends church frequently, however she believes that her spiritual practice is a lifestyle and one she is unapologetic about. She enjoys engaging with her peers and those still finding their way. She has cultivated a sisterhood through the women’s group and reading club she frequents.
